Injuries you've had while camping?

Just walked into the corner of the front living room slide. Ouch.

Note to self.......buy some of the foamy things to put on the corners. That's twice this season!

As long as you didn't bend the corner, the skin will grow back. I think there is a question that needs to be asked referring to ancestry. :roflblack:

No damage to the RV. Just need to pay attention to where I'm walking.

you may still be able to get the some foamy things for about $1.00 at Family Dollar. A lot less of a pain then what you've got there.

Pool noodles from the Dollar Store. Cut a chunk out of the middle at 45-degree angles to help them go around the corners.

Or, I just took pipe insulation. It seems the corners were the only thing that ever caught me. Ironically, once they were installed- I haven't hit them.

Dunno if it qualifies as an "injury" but I got bitten by a spider on Friday before we came home on Sunday this last trip.

Yeah, it's finally in the healing stage, after 10 days.

Little bugger DIED, I hope painfully.

After having a new awning arm installed I ended up cutting my face just above my eye after coming into contact with some type of clear plastic attachment as I was moving the level up the arm. To make life easier I had marked the hole on each arm and was leaning over the arm to see the marking. I have no idea what the plastic piece was but it's gone.

OUCH! If you want a permanent solution Camco has it:

For $12, IMHO better than the other solutions

Is that a lit fuse sticking out of your head?

The RB 09-02-2014 09:32 PM

Ouch. I've bonked my head a couple of times, but never drew blood. I hope you heal fast, and find a solution that works.

On a lighter note, I seem to always come down with a severe EYE and BACK problem when the time comes to break camp and head towards home...... EYE just can't SEE myself going BACK to work!
