I think they meed ro ne replaced under warranty. There should not be condensation inside the lenses

tmhyer 01-05-2015 04:31 PM

I meant need to be

Definitely sounds like replacement is needed. We have a 2014 Forester 3051S and haven't had any problem.

Side view camera

Rained Saturday 0% visibility Monday 100% clear Tuesday I don't understand how it clears that fast from0% to 100% clear Boso

Wondering if the seal isn't tight. It fogs up easily and clears once there's air movement -- just like a windshield.

Boso 01-06-2015 04:28 PM

That very well could be but how do you get into the case that holds the lense seal I m sure I could figure out but don't want to ruin warranty if it is more complicated than I think it is

SkipnTerri 01-06-2015 05:23 PM

Can you create the same 'problem' rain makes by using a water hose? Was the temperature warm or cold during the rain? The dealership will have to replace the seal or the whole mirror, because it can't be good for the camera for this to be happening.
