I, too, am a fairly new AFrame owner. I also bought mine used. New tires are a fairly cheap insurance policy. So many of these 'Chinese Bomb' stories are actually the result of old tires.

I pulled mine out this weekend. Too many washboard roads had broken the door hinges, anyway. Camping this weekend was really nice with all that extra space. Nothing gets left on the floor anymore.
