My tanks are stamped "must be requalified within 10 yrs of MFG date" can they go 12 years or do they have to be done at 10 years?

I've had mice get into the underbelly and then make holes in the furnace duct work. Once in the duct work they can travel to the furnace and any floor register. Had to replace all my ducting.

Removing it was just removing a bunch of screws and cutting it in some places. So putting it back was just the reverse. Screwing it back in along the edges and taping up where I had to cut it.

Mine was not easy to get to. I had to remove my enclosed underbelly to access the ducts and the rear vent was up in between the black and grey tanks.

Found problem with lack of heat

Opened up the enclosed underbelly and found the ducting all eaten up by mice. Also one duct was completely plugged by a mouse nest. Am replacing with insulated flexible ducts.
