When I first got it I was surprised how quickly the tank filled up so I timed how long to fill a gallon container from the shower, then I emptied the grey tank and timed how long it took to fill....

I think you'd have to look for a tag of some sort on the awning itself. Chances are you'll have to buy a whole new awning though.

I tow my 317 with a 2004 ford excursion. I have a Reese weight distribution hitch with no sway control and I haven't yet had any problem with sway. Towed about 1400 miles so far.

Yeah it may include that in fresh water.
The grey was supposed to be 76 gal but is only 38 gal. It even still says 76 gallons on the manufactures website.

I've also just bought a 317 BHSK. I just found out they put in smaller holding tanks than their specs said. They said it had a 76 gallon grey tank but only has a 38. Is yours the same way?
