I use the “worm gear” clamps on all my water line repairs. I’ve added shutoff valves to all my sinks and toilet lines. I use my 1/4” inch ratchet with 1/4” socket to tighten them, not a screwdriver....

Check to see if the aerator is screwed on...

Check to see if the aerator is screwed on correctly. It has an o-ring inside that if not seated properly will allow water to run down inside the spout. This water will collect on the sink shelf below.
