Disconnecting steps

Hi we have a 2015 FR3 30DS. I want to disconnect the automatic steps so we can install wood steps at our summer campground. Has anyone done this? Reconnect when we leave in the fall. Thank you

Bottom of slide has damage from the rollers. It's affecting both corners and getting worse. The damage is only in the front portion of the slide where the rollers touch when the slide is retracted....

Anyone else install an extension on the generator exhaust pipe? The kit I see shows it the extension pipe going straight up in the air anchored to the motor home. We have the main slide in the way.

I use Klasse, acrylic based protectant. It has been around since 70's. Get the polish and sealant for about $70.00 will last for years. Took me about 6 hours to do by myself. Looks spectacular!!
