2.7 pulls way better

Had a 5.0 pulling a 21 fbrs. Traded for a 2.7. Out pulls the 5.0 by a bunch. Doesn’t have to work hard either. Mileage close. A little better w 2.7. Shifts less. Doesn’t sound near as cool as 5.0.

Had similar issues w 5.0 towing similar weight trailer. Tow mode helped. Keep off cruise. Managed hill rpms by slowing down. I got a 2.7 eco and problem solved. It pulls way better than the 5.0....

Lens cover

On the 21fbrs just the white cover will pop off the fixture. I use a small jewelers screw driver.

Light gels

Our 21fbrs 's lights were extremely bright as well. We popped off the covers and cut different color gels from my band light system and it's awesome.

I did the same. I went from a F-150 4x4 w/ 4 leafs and 10 plys to a non 4x4 w/3 leafs. Had to put 10 plys on it w/ a helper spring. We haven't towed with it yet. It should be just fine for the 4000...
