rubber lube was a silicon spray to stop sqeeks. you don't want to spray any oil on it because then you would have to power wash or steam clean to put any other product on it in the future.

So long as you don't have a commercial transport lic on the side of your TV then just drive past. Its tunnels and bridges that don't allow propane that you need to watch for in big cities.
