I would be really surprised if you need a 12" drop. My truck has an 8" lift with 36" tall tires, and I use a 12" drop.

It's not just the smoke that is harmful. But I don't really care, mines deleted too. I'd rather run "dirty" while getting good fuel mileage and being reliable than run "clean" while getting bad fuel...

It's not the fact that it's lifted, it's the lift kit that is junk! This is my second lifted Chevy. The first one had a Fabtech lift. Never had a problem with it. It went 140k miles with 35" tires...
