Exactly. Crappy welds on my steel wheel. One day it got enough flex to start leaking. One day I’ll replace all wheels with forged or billet wheels with no welds.

Get rid of that adaptor. Look closely, the adapter is rated for very low tow weights. I’ve replaced all of mine with actual 2.5 inch shank bars.
