One More Stuck Slide

Sandpiper 35Loft. We were fulltiming, but landed about a year ago. Rig's been parked since then. Slides were out for a while, then in for a while, then back out.

We're using it for shelter for a...

2010 Sandpiper 35Loft 5W

This was our fulltime home for 18 months. We've now settled in Green Country, so we're downsizing a little. Planning on buying a smaller rig that we can pull with our van.

Purchased new in October...

Yes, it's a 50-amp rig. I'm not sure even with the work that's suggested it would get much better. It's a BIG rig with 9 people living in it. I think we need the extra cooling power.

King pin/axle Alignment

Our first hitch was a Reese Pro Series 15K. I tried to hook up one day with it closed, and bent it all to crap. A nearby RV shop sold me a used Husky 16K S hitch for $400.

When we hooked up with...

We've been fortunate so far (only been OTR since Feb) and haven't had any major issues. We bought onsite repair coverage, too.

Mtnguy, it ran fine for a while, then this popped up about 2/3 of the way through our stay in TX. The drive from TX to PA then to KY over two weeks hasn't changed anything.

Weather is spotty here...

Air Conditioning

We've got a problem with our Dometic Duo-Therm AC in a Sandpiper 35Loft.

The compressor runs constantly as long as there is power from the circuit breaker, but the fan only runs occasionally, like...

Have to agree about the LED lights. Really no excuse for them not to at least be an option, and it's silly for dealers not to order them that way.

Most of my gripes are specific to the 35Loft. I...

Austin Campgrounds?

Any recommendations for a 30-day stay in Austin? Kid-friendly with hookups would be best. I'm looking at rvparkreviews, but I was looking for other recommendations.
