2016 Wildwood Heritage Glen lite Camper Trailer 282RK

We are an older couple, bought new in 2016 (was gonna take to FL for winters, but never got around to it). Used 5 times for about 5 days each. Very nice quality made by Forest River. 50 amp service....

I am not near the trailer right now (off site storage), but I don't believe is a side to side issue. I can pull the bar inward enough to snug the window, but then I am about 3/4" too far in to latch...
