Was this a DS or DB? I just looked at a 4x4 36DS and it had just over 1,000lbs of CCC...which means the 4x2 should be upwards of 1400.

Not enough volume. It takes months to design and engineer a new floor plan, not to mention state approvals. The return on investment just isn't there for a floor plan like that.

Roughly, that pretty much fully loaded with all options. 4x4 adds several hundred lbs in weight. Again, yet another reason that we have not pursued a quad cab...which is several hundred lbs heavier...
