Welcome my friend. Stay positive. Expect the best, but always plan for the worst. That's with anything in life. We are taking 2018 383RBLOK out for its second time over Memorial Day. Nothing short of fantastic so far!

FYI guys. Someone has started a Sandpiper FB page. "RV Sandpiper 5th Wheel". Not allot of members yet, but it's slowly growing. I do me best to share updates and upgrades, and there are a few others as well.

Just bought a 2018 Sandpiper 379 FLOK. Love the layout. Height is intimidating though. Will have to get used to it.

we have the 378 fb also and are still learning all the outside hookups. the dealer did not go over the second black hookup with us. we have had it 4 months and only used it 3 times. Now I think our hydraulics have gone out and we cannot get our slides out or our jacks up. The dealer told us to call a mobile tech which is gonna cost us out of pocket

I have a 2016 Sandpiper 365saqb. I have a six point level system (LCI). When I use "auto level" it always seems to lift the wheels off the ground on one side of the trailer....even in semi-level areas (no ground is perfect). Does anyone have this issue with their auto level system?

Does it actually get level? I had this experience at first, but when it said it was level it really wasn't. To fix it, I re-calibrated the level setting by using a couple of bubble levels on the counter.

You need to recalibrate it. Get it on as level a surface as possible, then put it into manual mode and by using a carpenters level(s) on the floor, get it as close to true level as you can, then turn off the auto level at the keypad. Then with the keypad in off mode, press the up arrow 10 times, then press the down arrow 10 times. It will enter recalibrate mode. Then press the enter button to reset the calibration. The system will turn itself off.

Mine has done that, on what appeared to be not so level, but not crazy bad. I manually raised that side of the camper up a little bit more, and put leveling blocks under my wheels. Then re-auto leveled it to take the weight off my jacks. Worked out great. If it's level, no problem. But, for me, I put something under my tires. Don't seem right with the wheels off the ground.

Thank you for the responses! I have done the blocks under the wheels, but still seems to have a mind of its own. I agree. Doesn't seem right to have wheels off the ground!

Thank you for this suggestion. I will do this. Sounds like this is what it needs.

Daniel. Ask your AC question (about the 2018 ACs) in the general travel trailer and fifth wheel forum. It gets a little more attention then the brand specific forums.

FYI. It's MW from the Sandpiper Facebook group.

Daniel, if you haven't picked it up yet, make sure you understand how the water heater works as well. Mind didn't even work after I picked it up then it took forever to get it back in for repair.
