Another vote for Corelle. We've only lost one mug in 10ish years. I'm on vacation too when we camp so often paper plates bought wherever they seem reasonably priced. I do dishes once a day - usually in the evening. Paper plates go into the fire.

Since there are two of us, we use Corelle as well. Nothing wrong with paper plates, though. We keep some of those on hand too.

I'm not sure what brand we have, but they are the old dishes we used at home. My wife decided it was time for new dishes at the house so the old ones went in the camper.

We have traveled once per month for the last year and havent broken a plate or bowl yet.

We also keep a supply of paper plates to use when we have group meals with friends.

I have two microwave safe plastic plates bought at Dollar Tree. I line with a paper plate when microwaving, which is rare as we mostly dry camp.

Our lighter "finger" food, such as sandwiches or breakfast bagels, is eaten on the heavier paper plates. Our dinner or any other meal which uses knife/fork/spoon is eaten on camping enameled metal dinner plates/bowls such as someone mentioned above. They clean up with Dawn so much better than a plastic plate.

Target : Expect More. Pay Less.

I've got a set like this (different pattern) but I got the matching bowls which are nice and deep. They're light, and durable. We cut meat on them all the time and they don't gouge or anything. They're 6 years old or so now and the patterns still look good, so I don't think that's wearing off either.
