Too early for lunch here! Will worry about that after breakfast. Never too early for a cold beer though, always 5 o'clock somewhere. You must have really woke up hungry.

Slice half way through a hot dog and cut out a little v in your hot dog then insert your favorite cheese then wrap hot dog with bacon and use tooth pick to hold it together.

Grocery store fried chicken and potato salad.
Steak or grilled chicken salads.
Chicken, bacon, ranch wrap - my son's favorite!
Sloppy Joes and tater tots.
Cold cut sammies and chips.

When we went out west, we packed some cold cuts (turkey, ham, etc) with all the fixings in separate bags. We also packed a couple cans of Mandarin oranges and finger fruits (grapes, apples...) we saved money and enjoyed the outdoor picnics rather often.

Because I don't tolerate bread very well, we have gotten in the habit of just having a cheese/crackers/lunch-meat tray and a fruit/veggie tray for lunch when we are camping or out on the boat. Sometimes, the wife will make up ham or salami and cream cheese roll-ups.
Our friends will do that too, whenever the standard burgers/dogs/chip lunch don't sound too appealing.

A few weeks ago I made easy Ham and Cheese Biscuits. Everyone loved them! They make 24 slider size sandwiches. 24 dinner rolls - I used Kings Hawaiian rolls. 24 pieces honey ham. 24 small pieces of Swiss cheese. Slice open rolls and spread each side with mayonnaise or Miracle Whip. Place ham and cheese into each roll and place in casserole or on a cookie sheet. Melt 1/2 cup butter and stir in 1 TBSP poppyseeds, 1 1/2 TBSP yellow mustard, 1 TBSP minced onion, and 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Pour over top of sandwiches and let sit ten minutes. Cover with aluminum and bake 12 to 15 minutes, until cheese is melted. Uncover and bake two more minutes, or until tops are golden brown. Serve with fruit and chips, baked beans, potato salad, or other fresh salad.
We also make an easily portable tuna macaroni salad. Cook the amount of macaroni you need. Add drained tuna (one or two large cans, according to the amount you need). Add diced onion and frozen peas. Stir in Miracle Whip and season with salt and pepper. I take it on ice and serve in Solo cups and eat with a spoon. This is a nice switch from sandwiches.
Deli sandwiches are tasty. Use Kaiser rolls. Place on pastrami, thin sliced Knockworst, and Swiss cheese. Spread honey mustard on the rolls. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and sandwich is hot through and through.
