Electric skillet question

Anyone use the Presto 16 inch foldaway electric skillet?

We’ve been looking for one to take with us and the way this one stores looks nice.

From reviews I’ve read though it seems to have some issues with lid shattering and the non stick surface coming off etc.

Any other that you are using about the same size and had a good experience with would be a welcome part of the discussion as well.

Thanks

We've had a Presto with a crock insert for years and are very happy with it. My DD had a DeLonghi she didn't use so I took it and it is very nice. The DeLonghi is newer so it seems to work better but I'm sure you would be happy with either.

We use a Farberware electric fry pan for certain camping dishes. It does a nice job cooking up the beef for tacos.

No. We cook with propane instead of electrical resistance.

We just use an electric skillet we bought at Wally World. Proctor Silex, I think. It works great and there's no flaking of the non stick surface. Been using it for at least 2 seasons now.
