Hot dogs in a Thermos
Hotdogs in a thermos
This is a simple way to take hotdogs with you on the trail, to the game, or the office.
1. Pour condiments like mustard, ketchup, etc, into small re-sealable containers. Better yet, just save the packages you can pick up at fast food restaurants.
2. Put the buns in a ziplock bag
3. Boil some water in a tea kettle or the microwave.
4. Place the hotdogs in the thermos and pour the hot water over them, making sure to completely submerge the dogs the best you can.
5. Place the lid back on the thermos and seal tight.
6. Put everything into a backpack or lunchbox, so when you are ready to eat....the dogs will be ready too (they're boiled) and hot. Pour the water out, put it all together and enjoy.

only good if you like hot dogs right ?
we put hot dogs on our exh pipe on our snowmobiles.
in a little container called a hot dogger .
For those cold winter days when you are out having fun on your snowmobile, and can't find any golden arches. Flat-o-Products, Inc has developed the Hotdogger IV. This product is sure to give your stomach a pick me up!
The Hotdogger IV simply attaches to the muffler on your snowmobile. Installation time is approximately 5 minutes. Simply wrap your favorite food in foil or an oven bag, place in the Hotdogger IV and you have a hot meal or snack.

Not many snowmobiles in Florida either. I bet you could cook them on the exhaust manifold of a Jeep while wheeling !

Course when that kitty pukes and gets towed back you may get hungry!
Sorry Turbo couldn't help myself. Truth is I really miss ridding. Have fun this winter.

Yuk. I don't eat hot dogs. I do feed them to the pup though - they're made from all the things dogs like to sniff and lick.
I do like brats and kielbasa though. Will this work with those?

I really like this idea and may use it the next time I plan to go on a long woodland hike. Great tip thanks for sharing.

I'd be great in case you encounter bears...better than pepper spray. Throw them a couples of hot weenies and run like hell!

Don't know about that idea. You ever had a bear run you down and give you a kiss.

Hope this didn't come across as being rude, not my intention.

Weenies? Pepper spray? No no Dave, I carry a can of Pepsi with me in case I encounter a bear. Watch this video to see how much bears like cola.
It's very important to know how to handle bears.
