Dutch Oven Dome

Camp Chef also makes a Dutch Oven dome. It comes with the heat diffuser and a fire proof dome to put over the oven, so it gets heat on all sides. We have one, and it takes a bit to figure out how to get the best results, but I've pretty much gotten it down.

FYI...while it does not solve your stove question... to better contain charcoal on a variety of surfaces outside, 16" galvanized livestock feeder pans work great under 12" dutch ovens and make cleanup easy.

My Son Made Me a Pair of Dutch Oven Trivets

May or may not work for your stove but it is great for use in the fire ring so the oven does not get too hot. Weld nuts to the horse shoes and use different length bolts for different heights. Also packs relatively flat for travel when you unscrew the bolts.
BY FAR, THIS IS THE BEST SOLUTION! My son welded me a couple of them (in his shop class) after watching Kent Rollins use them on his YouTube channel. I have a pair and use 6 inch and 4 inch bolts. When one is not in the fire, the other acts as a trivet. What is also nice, is that the lid from the Dutch oven can be flipped and supported by the horseshoe trivet. Thus, you have a griddle when not using the oven part. For some reason (not needed), I painted mine with high temp paint). Finally, I was able to make a small wooden box for the Dutch Oven. It all breaks down and neatly stores in it!

I may still have resources you are interested in one or two.

Since I was already doing some Christmas shopping on Amazon, I started looking at the trivets like Bama Rambler linked me to. I found tons of them (but none as cool as the horse shoes) and settled on this one. It's less expensive than the one Bama Rambler linked but it looks like it is well made.

We don't have a camping trip coming up for about 6 weeks so it will be a little bit before we can test it out. If it works as well as we hope I'll probably get a 2nd one so we can have one for the stove in the TT as well as for the old Coleman stove.

Thanks to all for the suggestions!
