Just to add another thought: When my GF & I go camping (tent prior), I use a Primula Stove Top Espresso unit for her morning cup. They come in different sizes depending on how much you need to make. At the same time I heat up some milk in the old pirc unit & pour into my Froth -A -Matic & she has a morning Cappuccino. With chocolate powder on top she is a real Happy Camper (sorry for the pun).

We tent camped for several years, then went to a PUP. While doing some other travel we bought one of those small Mr. Coffee, mainly to use it while we were staying in a hotel/motel. It worked just great in the PUP for two cups..then somehow we accumulated an extra Keurig Coffee Maker. We started using it in our PUP...worked great because I am the one who makes the coffee most of the time. I guess we have gotten soft in our old age..anyway...moved it into our TT now.

We have a propane coleman coffee maker. This is a pic from the internet as I haven't got around to taking a pic of it yet.

We paid abt 80 bux for it and it works great. Nice in the morning to take out on the picnic table and make coffee while you are making breakfast on the stove.

I take the Keurig along. Since I bought it, I lost the taste for burned cowboy coffee.

4 cup perk range top model - 15 bucks
we have a 4 cup perk range top model
found at most camping stores - 15 bucks
it is small for good storage
and with cheap filters from WallMart
makes some fine coffee
will not work very good over
open flames in a fire pit
as the Coleman does
but
good on our little 4 burner
and
leaves plenty of room
for cooking other things
noTHING like the smell
of some fresh perked coffee !!

A percolator works good for us, too. That puppy carryied me over for a couple of days when my home coffee maker bit the dust and before I could get a new one. Like Moutainmanbob stated.......it is small for good storage, and makes good coffee. Nothing extra needed except some water, coffee, and a flame. Oh yeah, I use a filter in mine also to filter out the present day fine grain coffee made.

I have never seen one of these and did not know they exist before now. I have seen the Coleman type made to set on the Coleman stove.

We have a Keurig at home but I hate paying 60 cents for a cup of glorified instant coffee! I LLOVE the coffee from the Coleman Coffeemaker even when I just use Folger's in it. If I could find a drip coffeemaker that made coffee at home like the Coleman does, I'd can the Keurig. I've tried all the electric drips but they don't come close to the Coleman!

We use ours a lot when boondocking! I carry a pair of those small folding grease-splatter guards (about $5 in most kitchen supply shops), which I put around it when I use it on an outside burner, as any breeze slows the brewing process down even more.

We have had our Coleman coffee maker for about 8 or 9 years and really enjoy it. Like everyone else has mentioned, it does take longer to brew than home, but it's tasty! We buy whole bean coffee, so we grind up enough for the trip and put it in a zip lock bag. Oh how I love a good cup of Joe!

We use a Ryval 12-cup coffee maker. Cost $8.97 at WalMart. Stays in the TT... Can't beat the price/value!

We have a Keurig in our TT and we love it! We used to have a Coleman. It worked good, but took a long time to brew a pot.

x2 here...We used to use the two cup Mister Coffee...didn't work for us when we had the PUP. We use a Keurig at home so we got another one for our TT. It stores perfectly in a lower cabinet. It works just great because I am the one who makes the coffee in the mornings. Less work for the old DH.

We have used our Coleman coffee maker. Works well, but where to store it is the big problem. So we keep using our 5 cup little coffee maker. My hubby really wants a bigger coffee maker, but again... where to store it? A bigger coffee maker does NOT fit under the sink in any way! very frustrating. Suggestions?

Would love to help but we have so much room in our unit, we have a Keruig in the pantry and the Coleman in one of the closets in the bathroom and we still only use about half the storage we have.
