Now I am definitely confused after all that. What I DO know is that it has 2wh hi - neutral- 4whd low and 4whd high and the owners manual says it is towable. The steering wheel has a position that will let you tow it without the steering locking, completely free wheeling, and you have no power on the vehicle when it is in this position. Also the tail lights have an extra bulb that is powered by the motor home. It is ready to be towed, just plug it into the coach and go.
This liberty is rear wheel drive until you put it in 4whd and then all four pull. I know this because I have spun the rear tires while in 2whd. It definitely is not primarily front wheel drive.
