Friend of mine bought one such truck from oil field work 2012 had 160,00on it and 10,000 miles later has to install new engine. I think these trucks are driven pretty hard and yep do maintenance but that is not always what it takes. Later RJD

After Working & Managing 20+ years in the service & parts depts of
Chevy, Dodge, Nissan, Toyota & Volvo dealerships, I saw quite a bit.
I saw many examples of engine & trans failures, at all mileages, during that time.
At the same time, i saw many more "long-life" vehicles when properly maintained. Though there is always a possibility of failure, well maintained vehicles are more apt to give many years of service.
