Bike rack

We are looking for a bike rack to fit on the hitch of our Class A Motorhome. We also pull a car. Please PM me if you have one for sale.

Posting a real phone number is IMHO a very, very bad idea.

Good luck with the hunt.

Ever hear of that thing called a "Phone Book"?

My granddaughter came home the other day and said her teacher has a book with everyone's name, address and phone number in it. She was amazed

yep, that's why the Forum advises NOT to post personal info, like phone numbers or email addresses or home addresses.

that's why the Forum has the PM(Private Message) system, so you can safely communicate with other members privately.

Strangely enough I have, but I have yet to see one that lists cell numbers.
I have not had a hardwire phone for more than ten years and for more years than that the landline number was unpublished.

They are concerned someone might call you that you did not want to call you. Not to worry, they protected you by taking down your number. You are probably ok cause I don't think there are too many scammers spending time on this site.. But you never know

I believe he means he doesn't know what IMHO stands for.

In My Honest Opinion

And I agree, If you do put your number online write is as 8six7five3o9, it's harder for the spammers to pick up on.

Juju, simply ask for someone contact you by PM. that way info can be exchanged without any personal info being posted on the website.

and yes, the Forum is constantly under attack by spammers and we've had members contacted by scammers.

Bikendan, Thanks, that is good to know. I was being a little flippant with my response. I don't even have a PM address because I don't want unwanted email. In fact, I don't have any social network sites like FB. Too much private info as far as I am concerned. Sorry about hijack.. Hope OP finds a bike rack...

I don't want to get in a war on words, but if Humble is the word most used in IMHO. Would a humble person be giving an opinion?

If you left click on my user name you will see the option of sending me a PM that is for THIS SITE ONLY it helps some people pass info that may not be for the rest of the members or spambots.

If I left click on your user name The option to send you a PM is there, again for this site only.

every member can send/receive a Private Message here, without any "address" being evident.
dalford, you just have to say whether you want to receive them or not.
