Do they just slide on (and off when not in use)?

I found the Cipa to cause enough wind resistance on my 2500HD to push them backwards. Did you have any problems like this?

I have these exact one and will fit on the 2014-2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 standard mirrors. They work great and have used them for towing almost 10,000 miles. They are stable and at 80 they do not vibrate or cause them to move.

Regards,
David.

I have not had any issues at all with them pushing the mirrors back. And also I bought another set for my new Ram.

They are $48 for the pair on Amazon.

I looked at the CIPA custom fit chart and they have a note that they "Will not fit chrome capped mirrors." Did you have chrome caps? I'm curious if they actually don't fit or if CIPA is CYA'ing in case of scratches.

Yep, got me a pair on amazon for $49 new. Worked on my 2006 Chevy 2500HD like a champ! No slip, no vibration at all.

I did not have chrome caps.

And I did not realize they were going that cheap!

New price $35 shipped.

As stated in the post above I have almost 10,000 miles in use and I have the chrome capped mirrors with the puddle light and LEd turn signal built into the mirror and not a scratch to be found. I do however make sure the chrome is clean before putting these on.
