Just looking at buying one of those, a few questions on yours.

Is it the Brake Buddy Classic model?
How old is it/how much has it been used?
Does it have a wireless indicator with it?
Do you still have the instruction manual?

Here are some pictures of the BuddyBrake system... All wiring necessary to use it are included (brake away, power, etc.) as the pictures show.... It's been used maybe 6-8 times.... Gave my son the Saturn Vue I was using it with so no longer used it.... Bought new Class A and will be towing a Mini Cooper which doesn't require auxiliary brakes... So I'm offering it for sell...

Sorry for the long delay, our house sold, but the RV was still at the dealership for repairs, and we stayed somewhere without internet, then we had to drive 3,800km to the factory for repairs.

After going through the mountains on the trip across the states we've decided to lay off any type of break assist for now. I think the Honda Fit is so light the RV's transmission and brakes don't even notice its there. I think I used my brakes less than a dozen times on all the downhill grades the whole trip.

If your Honda weights less than 3,000 lbs then you're absolutely legal to tow it without an aux braking system in all states. Anything above that weight does require one.... That's one of the reasons I went with a Mini. Cooper as my toad - weighs only 2,500 lbs... Safe travels...
