I currently used that receiver. What did you upgrade to and why?

I had an old 311 SD box in spare bedroom. When I found that they charge the same $7.00 monthly regardless if you own it or not I had them send me a VIP 211K HD box to replace it. The 211 is now in the bedroom of our 5th wheel.

Not to jump in on Turbs but for us, we recently tried taking our Hopper from the house and plugging it in and it has worked fine for the last 2 weeks. We've moved twice and just contacted dish by chat and gave them our new service address and said we did not want to change our billing address and it's been fine.

The 211's are designed for the Tailgater style of antennas primarily, a few months ago we installed a Winegard Trav'ler antenna. We tried talking to Dish tech support and they said it would not work then a few folks on the internet said it would so I just took it out and tried it and it's been perfect.

Upgraded to the Wally to be able to stream Netflix and hook to Ethernet.
