ISO Directv Receiver

I'm looking for to buy a Directv HD receiver preferably it's DVR but not required. It cannot be a hr25 or any other that require swm as my setup does not permit that.

Just make sure you call the number into Directv and make sure it's owned first. Lots of people think they own them just cause they paid a fee for the box.

the hr24 dvr will work with either swm or a multiswitch.

the h25 regular hd will not. it is a swm only.

just a fyi.

ISO Directv Receiver

I called Directv with some questions about which one I needed, and they sent me a brand new receiver for free.

Yes directv will give you a receiver for free if you havent got one in a years time. You must sign a two year contract for all hd equipment.
You can also call in to rententions dept and get pretty good discounts on ir bill per month as well.

I just got the service not that long ago so I have to wait until I've had service for 2 years until they will give me another receiver without an added $50 service fee. Which is why I'm looking for an added receiver that I don't have to go to directv for. Solid signals price is roughly the same as direct tv without the service fee. I was hoping someone in here had one to sell.

Try calling in to them when the automated woman comes on tell her rententions department. Then say cancel service. That go along way with directv. They will give you one free

That's the monthly fee to use it. The OP will have to pay that to use it, no matter where he gets it from. That fee is required to activate the smartcard.....(Or genie client ID if it's a genie system).

And I heard that they are going to $7.00.............

If you're already a Dtv customer, you only need to sign up for an additional year. At least that's the deal I got. And they told me I could suspend service over the winter months.
