Hi Mark,
Valid question on why we are selling.
First off we LOVE the 2801. I don't think anyone makes a class C better suited for TWO people. This rig has done everything we expected and a bit more.
Why we are selling, we are *not* campers, we are RVers. For 1 to 2 week excursions this rig is great for us, but for trips of 1 month or more, the DW wants her washer dryer again and more closet space for hanging clothes. As far as tankage, I believe we have about as much as can be put on an E-450 chassis.
When we sold our Blue Bird, I was undergoing chemo and didn't expect to live, but here I am! We managed to go 2 years without an RV and bought our 2801 with the intent of spending time in state parks. After a year of that we realize we really like long range trips and extended RVing (not camping). With that in mind, we are going to a super C and looking very hard at a DX3 as we have had many class A rigs and think the super C fits our needs better for this time in our lives.
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here or PM me.
Paul
