[SOLD] Off road/boondocker 2008 Flagstaff Mac
If you love to get away from the crowd in the middle of the National Forest’s, or if you love to mix it up with your neighbor at the RV park, this pop up is at home either way.
2008’ Flagstaff Mac by Forest River Pop Up that has been garage keep since we, the second owners acquired this wonderful camper. If not for a back surgery and a subsequent neck fusion, there is no way you would even be reading this ad, but, I am regrettably having to let it go.
In really great condition, yet has proven it’s worth in the back woods with the high lift suspension by Timbren.
It has the #3,500 4” lift, with electric brakes, axle-less suspension that eliminates the axle, in it’s place there is a 2” torsion bar at an amazing height of 17” ground clearance! If you can get your tow vehicle there, the Mac will effortlessly follow.
We installed a new 6 gallon water heater which operates off propane or electric and has a direct fire ignition. Illuminated switch inside let’s you know it is fired up.
To go with the hot water we installed an outdoor shower that we ran in to the small portable privacy pop up tent, set up right next to the Mac, where we also put the flush-able Thetford porta potty. Just put the lid down and enjoy a hot shower on top of a mountain, it’s water proof and doubles as a seat.
It has a 1000 Watt inverter that energizes the LED ceiling strip light and the multi-plug if you want to watch a movie with out the generators running.
