Progressive Industries have a very liberal lifetime warranty which is little risk for the purchaser. If it fails, contact them and it will be replaced.
Do not mean to kill your resale (great price BTW) but you are selling under false pretenses. The lifetime warranty is for original purchaser only. I had the same situation and I had to submit my purchase receipt to PI before resale for a warranty repair.
See quote and link.
"Our Lifetime Warranty is exclusive to PII and in lieu of all other warranties, obligations or liabilities implied by PII. This is a non-transferable Lifetime Warranty and is exclusive to the original owner and covers those products purchased from an authorized dealer, retailer, or seller. Nor does the Lifetime Warranty cover unauthorized labor."
