SOLD - ProPride 1400 hitch
I bought the hitch early 2012, used it last season and two trips this season. We just purchased a motorhome so no longer need the hitch. I offset the jacks about 2" to accommodate our 2011 Windjammer 3008W V nose. The hitch will fit any trailer v nose or straight. Sorry I don't have a picture with me to post but I will try to get one posted later today when we get home. 1750

Interested in Hitch
Is this still available? Want to buy a PP3, but I live in Vegas. How would you ship it? What carrier was used by Propride to ship it to you? I know they charge $195 for shipping.
How would we arrange for payment? I have a Paypal account I haven't used in a while. When I was selling stuff, I think they held money in escrow til I delivered the goods. That would probably work for me.
I would want a detailed invoice listing all items - you probably got one when you bought it new, you could just copy that. And I would want to see pics of the condition of all the major parts and written assurance nothing is damaged or missing.
But again, is it still available?

The hitch is still available. You can see some pictures on my profile page. I will try to take some close ups now that it is off of the trailer. I think it was shipped UPS in 4 or 5 boxes. I'll have look into packaging and shipping. I don't think I still have the original invoice but I'm sure I can find a material list on pro-prides web site. I can lay all of the parts out and take pictures to identify everything that is intact and nothing is missing.

Hey,
I still interested, still waiting for your reply. Did you sell it or what? Please let me know one way or another. Thanks. PS: never could access your profile page to see pics.

Extension Kit
Propride also sells an extension kit consisting of 2 safety chain extensions and 2 couplings, an 18" 7way plug cord extension, and a brake away cable extension. Are those included with your hitch? Did you find an invoice or complete parts list you could use as an invoice to me? If I knew how you will pack them, including package weight, length, width, girth; I could get some shipping quotes. I would prefer to pay with PayPal. If you don't have an account, it takes only minutes to set one up. Thanks.

I guess I never seen that hitch before, that's quite a set up. Talk about having to back in straight, I guess you would have to be perfect. Just out of curiosity how much is the total weight of that hitch set up.

200 lbs and best to use a back up camera.

Adworksad, I don't have the chain and power cord extensions as I didn't need them with my Windjammer and F-150. Total weight is around 200 lbs. I think the heaviest part will be around 65-75 lbs. I will weigh all pieces tomorrow for separate weights. I also have an installation manual which shows all parts.
As far as backing into it, I didn't have a camera, which would be ideal with backing into any hitch, but I would watch both mirrors as I backed up and gauged my distance on either side and was able to back straight into it very successfully. You have to make sure the hitch head is straight and not off to one side.

I would never ever pull a long trailor without a propride hitch. No sway what so ever even in strong wind. They are worth the 2500.00 that they cost. If you get one cheaper jump on it .

Thanks for your inquiry. I am in central Ohio. Would be willing to meet somewhere if not too far away.

Ohio is a bit far from MN. I doubt you will have a hard time selling this
