Install Complete

Very easy install, awning kit works as promised and I'm very pleased with the results. I parked my TT in an open field all afternoon with strong winds and and noticed no movement in my awning arms. Great product Neil.

Nice promo shots! You'll have to negotiate your commission with dunnc!

If your installation went like mine, the bottom hole for the keeper pin when stored, may not be centered. If so, you should mark which side is "out" (or in) so that when you retract it after using it the pin goes in easy. I filed a notch in the front of the feet so I can see/feel which face of the lower pole faces out.

Of course as an early customer of the the DunnNC awning poles, mine were not so beautifully finished!

None are furnished painted. Sorry, I don't have the facilities for painting. I figured Lou would buff his out to look like a chrome finish. (Notice I didn't say polish as you are Italian.)

BTW, 2 of the 3 sets I have now have the 'wire bushed' finish on the lower poles and don't need paint.

My paint facility and painters are available to paint all awning poles for a nominal fee.

OSHA will get you for not furnishing eye protection and respirators.

BUT, they did do a good job on your poles.

any chance of a pic or a diagram of this. I want to make one just like it!
So worried that flimsy awning will blow away.

Don't think so, it is a 4" dia tube 74" long. I got an estimate of around $60 US.

It is in the files section under awnings.

Well, TOWTA decided she wanted the new wire brush outer pole set. Guess what? She got them.

The old ones are gone and now have one set of the smooth finish poles available and one wire brush finish set. IF, I make anymore, they will be with the wire brush finish only.

I believe that a licensing agreement or royalty fee is due to dunnnc.

Don't think anything like that is necessary, glad to be able to contribute what little I can so others might benefit. Thanks anyway!

Bought the last of the wire brush finish pole material. Was enough for 4 sets which are in process. Then it will be the end of production. Should have this batch done by the weekend.

Thanks Neil, for all who got a chance to have a set of awning poles.
If I ever sell my camper, those poles will definitely move to the new camper.
Thanks again.

1 set of smooth outer tubes left (last one) ready to ship.
The 4 brush finish sets still in process. Inner & outer tubes finished just the attaching brackets and stow brackets to make. Should have them pretty well along tomorrow.

Finished the 4 new sets, so that ends the production of awning poles for this old coot.

So the inventory is 1 set of smooth outer poles and 4 sets of wire brush outer poles, all ready to ship if the orders come in.
