[SOLD] - Zamp 160W Portable Solar Panel w/ ext cable, spare port, spare controller

Selling my Zamp 160W panel because I'm selling my RV. This thing has allowed me to dry camp most of the Summer, pulling in mega-rays to charge my 2 house batteries and allow me to run electronics from my inverter.

This is a suitcase panel that folds up and comes in a case. It includes a 15ft extension cable, battery connect cable, a spare port, and a spare charge controller in case anything happens to the one that's already installed.

One of the legs is broken but it still holds the panel in the right position and folds up correctly. Can probably be easily repaired but I don't have the time, and as it works, haven't had the need.

I paid ~$800 for this in May but you can get a new one now for $700ish. Asking $475 + Shipping if it needs to be shipped.

I'm in Sacramento until Monday and will be back in the SF Bay Area after that.

I am interested if MVFD passes. This would be a great addition to our TT. Can you quote shipping cost to 35758" Thanks!

Really wish I had seen your post earlier. If you don't mind answering a question - how does the solar unit connect to your batteries? Our FR Solera has house batteries under a side step. We like to have a solar panel but don't know if the only access is in the stairwell.

Mar is on his way to pick it up now, so safe to say the panel is SOLD.

If you buy one of these panels and you don't already have a Zamp port installed on the side of your RV, you could either install a port that would discretely attach to your batteries or you'd have to run a cable under the step using alligator clips to attach to the batteries. Worth calling Zamp if you want to explore the first option - forest river installs the port on most of their rigs now, so it's very easy.
