Trail Air Pinbox 21,000 GVWR

New take off. I went a different direction and pulled this pinbox from my brand new RV. Lippert part number 158778. Replaces standard Lippert 1621 and 1621HD. Local pickup only in Western MA as it's too heavy to ship. Retail is $1120.75. Will sell for $700. PM or call Rodney anytime. 413-896-4091.

Lippert Components Fifth Wheel King Pin - LC158778

Enjoy smooth, stable towing with your fifth-wheel trailer by replacing your ordinary pin box with this air-ride-equipped model. An internal air bag and built-in strut absorb road shock so that you won't feel it. Replaces Lippert 1621 pin boxes.

Air ride pin box replaces standard pin box on your 5th-wheel trailer to cushion your ride, improve handling, and limit strain on truck and trailer

Internal air bag absorbs road shock
Scissor-like motion allows pin box to compress, compensating for jarring and bounce
Built-in shock ensures that pin box rebounds - keeps air bag from breaking down
Black powder coat provides rust resistance
Sturdy steel construction
King pin connects to any 5th-wheel trailer hitch
Bolt-on installation with no assembly required
Made in the USA

Designed to replace Lippert 1621 long-jaw 5th-wheel pin box

Back in the day, HEAVY, auto parts, etc were shipped via Greyhound bus.
Just say'n! Maybe they still do and if they do, you have VASTLY expanded your sales market. Also there are small companies who have trailers and travel the US with assorted shipments and you or the potential buyer might go online and get a quote. They take your parcel along with other deliveries in the same general direction.
Everything in America does not have to be Fed x.
You have a very nice pin box and surely where there is a purchaser, there is a reasonable way to connect the two!

I was just thinking the same thing when someone from MT contacted me on it. Perhaps I'll look into it... Thanks for reaffirming that was still an option!

Well, that was quick. 100 lb max. The pinbox weighs 185 and I don't feel comfortable taking it apart...
