2018 Sabre 27BHS

Just upgraded to a fifth wheel from a TT. Went with the Sabre 27BHS. So far it's been great with no issues. We've had a few small details that were missed, like some hangers for the gas lines were not bolted to the bottom (3 of them), but 5 minutes and a power drill fixed that. We shopped around for a while and for the price compared to similar fifth wheels we couldn't go with anything else. The Heartland Pioneer had the exact same floor plan, but felt cheap and flimsy, the finishes were not as nice and sub par. For $2k more with the Sabre, we got solar ready, residential fridge, inverter, back up camera, fireplace heated and massaging seats, power lift bed, auto leveling jacks and many more options. My FIL just purchased the Columbus Compas and the interior trim and build quality is just as nice in our Sabre for half the price. So far the only downside we found was it only has a 49 gallon fresh water tank. It barely lasted 4 people 3 days of dry camping. We have read many different opinions online about this model, some good some bad. We performed a VERY through inspection prior to signing on the dotted line. We also understand that for the price we paid, it's not going to be perfect. It's a trailer that bounces down the highway. If it sat in our driveway then maybe things won't come lose. We had a Jayco Jayflight previously and within the first year floor bolts came up through the lino, the sky light leaked, the sterile/DVD quit, the stickers faded and peeled and many other issues. You will find problems with all trailers, it's the chance you take.
