Bad paint

Discovered big blister in paint where truck cabin meets house cabin. Contacted FR. Said get estimate and send pics. Told unit 4 months out of warranty. Did so per Russell Stull. Waited heard nothing. Had unit repaired and sent paid in full bill with pics again nothing.
Not people of their word.
Will NOT recommend FR to others.

Poor quality in workmanship. See following post "Poor Quality"

Wanted to inform them of Quality Control problem. Have no problem spending $$$ on unit to make things right or my way.
Common courtesy is a reply of some sort.

More than likely it was not a bubble in the paint, but a bubble in the sealant that was painted over. Should be able to pop the bubble, or fill the bubble and use a colored sealant.

I do have to agree there communication with their customers is lacking. It really should not take so long to get a reply.

I'm on here just about daily. I think others might disagree with that statement.

I can't speak for Stull, but normally they are pretty responsive and we just added direct email links to all our our web sites.

I'd have to see a picture. I see that bubble a lot when the shops paint over sealant. They try and paint first now and come back over with clear. Some areas that's not possible. The place you're talking about (coach to cab transition) is a prime spot for that.

I guess I should not speak for everyone but I have contacted them 3 times on the same thing and have yet to hear back after 3 weeks. Nothing major just drawer slide catches that are broken and need replaced. I would do it myself but can't seem to find the part. Just my experience lately so to be so all inclusive that was not my intent.

Ah, well as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. That is one I haven't seen before.
Looks like air got in behind there somehow.
