CAT Scale App a must have
I downloaded the CAT Scale App a few weeks back but had not used it until today. Bought a new TV (2018 F350, SRW, 6.7L) and finally got the 5th wheel hitch and tonneau cover installed. Loaded up the DW and a full tank of diesel and Went to the scale, fired up the app and was out of there in just a couple of minutes. So simple. Got home and had a PDF file of the weigh ticket in my email.
The main complaint I saw on reviews was it was near impossible to change your payment method. I just set up tp pay thru PayPal. That way any card changes will take place at PayPal.
App is free. Check this out. It’s a little long but explains everything...

it isn't worth the trouble to only use once a year or whenever you buy a new truck or RV. Now for truckers who use the scales often that is a different story.

My wife disagrees. It was her job to run inside and get the weigh slips between the 2 weighings (truck + camper vs. truck only). She was very pleased to save the trip!

I agree...had it and uninstalled it...don't want to store my credit card info on file with them. I weighed the rig a few times and its to a point where all our stuff is in there and weight doesn't change much anymore.

I agree, will not use it much but when I need to, so convenient. Also, signed up to pay by PayPal so no credit card with them.

If you load your rig once and weigh it, and never change anything and are not close to the limits, then sure just weigh it once.
Otherwise get the app and the process is so easy that you will check your weight more often when you change loads, put things on and off etc. We all get heavier when we age. Lol

I only go to scales a couple of times a year but love it as it saves me having to walk into and out of the truck stop. Not a bog deal to some, I’m mobility challenged. 👍😁
