Forest River Sandpiper 379FLOK

I have been a huge proponent of FR since I purchased my 2017 Sandpiper 379FLOK. I attended the FROG rallies in both 2017 & 2018 and each year, the Sandpiper Service Team did a phenomenal job repairing a LITANY of issues with my coach. Subsequently, it has been maintained in pristine condition.

This summer, I traveled to the Pacific NW. While staying for a week in Lander, WY, I noticed an 8" crack in the exterior wall of the coach near the corner of the front living room slide. I assumed it was probably a frame failure at a weld.

I contacted the Forest River Service Rep - Judd Cripe and left a VM. He returned my call 2 days later. He asked for me to send pictures. I immediately followed up with several pictures and email. After 2 weeks, I called and emailed again. NO RESPONSE. I have sent multiple emails and made multiple calls with absolutely NO RESPONSE from ANYONE AT FOREST RIVER.

I initially offered to bring the coach to Elkhart for repair and pick it up. I also offered to pay for any needed repairs (told on the initial call to expect $3000-$5000). My intent was to get the unit fixed and trade it in on a FOREST RIVER RIVERSTONE coach.

DUE TO THE EXTREME LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BY JUDD CRIPE AND THE ENTIRE FOREST RIVER TEAM, I MADE A DECISION TO GO ELSEWHERE FOR ALL OF MY FUTURE RV NEEDS. PATHETIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy to report that I have purchased a 2020 Vanleigh BEACON 42 RDB and take delivery on 11/26/19.

Adios and Bye Bye FOREST RIVER!!!!! Never again!!!!!!!

I can't believe that companies who behave this way are still in business. And I also can't believe that this post didn't generate about a hundred "me too!" comments.

I can relate to the poor customer service and lack of response. I have a slide issue and got no help.
