It should've been fixed before you gave them any money.

I guess I don't understand your question. Warranties cover defects, don't they? The dealer has been great to deal with, I'm not trying to give them a hard time because the manufacturers have lousy quality control. In our case, we had a trip coming up the following weekend that had been booked long before we bought the new one, and we were fortunate that the dealer was able to order one and get it in sooner than they originally expected. What was I supposed to do, say, "Nope, I'm not taking it home today, go swap the plates back onto my trade, and even though we cleaned and prepped our trade and we're eager to use our new unit, you have to fix the little hole in the screen first"? It's a little hole in the screen, not a showstopper. Understandably, the dealer is probably frustrated by people who may be less patient than I who have more urgent problems than a little hole in the screen.
I just expect the manufacturer to fix their defects, that's all. I'm OK with living with a relatively minor problem that needs a replacement part until the dealer can put out the bigger fires first, just hoping I'm not de-winterizing it next year and still waiting for a new screen.
