Since we started full timing in June and just using the past few months to "get used to it" and relax, we had been neglecting our vehicles. So, the other day we decided to really CLEAN the car. Well....you guessed it.......locked the keys in the car!!!!!
Looked for the spare.....must have packed them in storage.
And.....I don't have any of my good tools.
Now what!!! Then I remembered I have Good Sam's Roadside Assistance Service. Called them up, told them we were in a safe place (they asked) and that they could come the following morning. They set up an appointment for 9am and said they would call an hour before. The next morning, they called at 8:05 to tell me who they were sending and if it was OK to give him my contact info. and that he should be here in about an hour. 9:10am, he called apologizing for being late and verifying our address. Ten minutes later he was here, got the car open, shook hands and was on his way, NO CHARGE!! WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE.........KUDOS TO GOOD SAM ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE and very pleasant & attentive staff at their call centers.
