Hanging pictures in RV

Happened upon this product at the home show last weekend. It seems an ideal way to hang pictures in a motorhome or trailer....wish this existed when we had our motorhome, the pictures went with the unit when it was sold....

Opposing Industrial velcro works well.
Use a level when installing.
There are products to remove velcro glue
or do so when it is cold.

x2 on the 3m "command" strips. Work great. I have used them to hold the dvd player in place on a shelf and tv remotes to the wall.

Do the strips actually come off the wall as easy as it appears in the video with no damage to wall surface?

They do, I use them all over. I hate poking holes in any walls.

The ones I have used, the strips are not reusable. I have them on my clock/indoor-outdoor thermometer.

No they are not.
You can buy replacement strips at Ace hardware, Walmart, Home depot, Lowes and I think Walgreens has them.

They get my vote also! I used this to hang a Native American painting in our 5er that DH got for me while on a business trip in Arizona.

One of a kind, can't be replaced, and I trust 3M to keep it securely mounted.

Thanks for the 3M link. I guess I need to weigh the mirror I bought. It has a plastic frame, but it appears certain command strips can hold 12-16 pounds. I am just freakin' out cause its a mirror, cannot afford to have another 7 years of bad luck!

If in doubt go big and use two.

Yep, the artwork I mentioned isn't big at all, and I used two strips...top and bottom, if for nothing else just to stabilize it and make it hang level top to bottom.

We also mounted a small flashlight on the wall just inside our entry door with this same product.

3M Command hooks are a *must* for RV owners.

Example: when the string broke on one of the day/nite shades on our V-Lite we put a couple of the LARGE command hooks on the wall just beneath the window and the shade rested on those until we took it back in to have it fixed, along with other warranty odds and ends.

I love the brushed nickel hooks, as they match the cabinet hardware, faucets, etc.

I'm about to use more of the 3M products to mount more Native American art in our bedroom.

If the mirror is large and heavy, I'd mount two on top, two on bottom and even a couple on each side.

Picture frames
We use a peel and stick frame called
RVFraimz by Fodeo. Check them out at www.rvfraimz.com
Got ours from Curtis Trailer in Aloha Oregon. They are reusable, won't damage surface and has a clear surface to protect your pictures.
