I highly recommend Hertel Plus Disinfectant to clean your awning.

My Mom had recommended Hertel Plus to me when I saw how dirty my awning was after the first winter I had it. (It's stored outside with no cover.) Not only was it filthy, but there was the beginnings of mildew growth and brown staining. That first Spring I couldn't find the product anywhere so I tried a bunch of different products. Diluted Javex was the most effective. I finally found some at a large Home Hardware store while on a camping trip in Gananoque last summer. So, when I pulled the Roo out of storage this Spring and it again looked ugly like it had the first year, I got out the Hertel Plus bottle. I sprayed it all over the white underside of the awning. Using a medium bristle brush and soapy water, the dirt and mildew came right off and it looks nearly new!

I'm completely impressed with this product and highly recommend it.

Home Hardware - 700mL Original All Purpose Cleaner

We use Clorox Cleanup in a spray bottle. Spray it on Swiffer pad and wipe down awning. Then put a clean pad on, wet it with clean water and wipe down awning. Works great and very little effort.
