Good video but I found it odd that he jacked the wheel from the center of the axle. I always heard that was a nono. Maybe because he had no weight on the frame?

Jack stand holding frame up using jack to support axle from dropping shackle past center support which it will do been there done that.

I dont believe Lippert actually packs the bearings initially. the grease they use is semi-viscous...like a liquid grease they can just flow into the cavity. we had a 40% failure rate on the seals the first year of use on 5 rentals.

What makes you think lippert doesn't pack there own axles bearings?

From checking both trailers right after I got them from the dealer. The bearings were greased, but the cavities sure weren't.

i believe they put grease in. i just dont believe they need to pack the bearing. upon a repack in 60 degree weather, a dollop of the original grease would drop off of your finger. runny grease negates the need for a pack...just add to hub.
