I had a question about torque specs for the bolt on the roller assembly on my 15k Pullrite Superglide hitch, so I contacted the Pullrite folks via email to see if I could acquire the proper specs. I mentioned in the email that I found the bolt to be a little loose when I was inspecting the hitch.
The very next day I received a return email from Lionel at Pullrite providing me with the torque specs on the bolt. This was all I was hoping to get back, so I would have been satisfied there. However, he noted the fact that I mentioned that I was inspecting the hitch and he offered to help me with my inspection process if I would send them a few pictures of the hitch. So, I sent him a few pictures of the hitch.
Well, he got back with me this morning with the following response:
Good morning and thank you for the pictures. I forwarded them to my engineering department and they have stated the hitch looks great. Make sure you use WD-40 or a light grease on the way tubes every time the hitch is in use. Hope I could be of some assistance, if you have any other questions or concerns feel free to contact us.
Now it may not seem like much, but getting customer service where folks actually care and will go the extra mile to help you out is going the way of the dinosaur. So I just wanted to share my experience with others.
I would certainly buy another Pullrite hitch as they have a great product and great customer service.
