We just bought this camper and have had it out twice.both times the outside Temps have been in the upper 80's. The camper has the upgraded 15,000ac. It does a poor job of cooling the camper. It only brings the inside Temps down to 80 or so during the day. At night ect it will pull it down. Imo this 35ft tt needs a 50amp service and dual ac units. Problem is I own it now and will need to figure out a solution. We are thinking of the good 3m tint and maybe window awnings and good day/night shades... not bit ching just think people should have this information.

Our air was doing similar on our last trip. Went to an RV repair guy who just happened to be a Dometic rep. He got approval for the warranty work and just happened to have the same unit. Switched it out and 90 minutes from the time we got there we were on our way. The guy was out in the country too. Have a repair guy check it out!

I have same unit. 2017...50 amp with one AC. Our outside temps have been in 90s. I admit I'm under some shade trees but also have a small 9 inch fan plugged in the bedroom that I keep on. Keep my thermostat on 75+. No complaints so far.

You can add a second AC to a 30A trailer (we did) but wire it to a separate electrical box. Then you can move to a divided service and use a 50A cord or two 30A cords and a splitter into a 50A pedestal plug.
