Sewer Sock

I saw an ad for these and thought it was a good idea to help keep mice out. Unfortunately they really do not work very good. The problem is they are too lightweight to meet the opening closed. I could put a couple of bricks on top to keep them closed. They may in fact actually help rodents get a better grip on the wire mesh to help them through the openings! I wouldn't recommend purchasing these unless you have a way to weigh them down inside to keep the opening closed.

I even wonder if the device is needed if you have the bay as a 1 piece molded bay. In other words if they crawled in there is still no hole(s) for them to go through to access any other part of the RV.
