Truck System Technologies Customer Service
Well, I did it. I dropped my TST 507 display on the concrete. (Carrying it around as you install the tire sensors is not a good idea I've decided.) When I picked it up, I discovered that the right half of the display wasn't working anymore. It was only 7 months old at this point. I was very sad.
I called TST to find out how much just the display unit would cost. I told them I had dropped mine on the concrete. I was told "No problem. You're still in warranty. Just send in that unit and we'll send you another one."
I tried to argue, pointing out (the obvious) that this was not a defect, that I had dropped it. I sent it in as requested (on a Wednesday). On the following Tuesday, I had a refurbished unit in my mail box! It works good as new.
I don't know how folks that are buying other systems would make out with this kind of problem, but I can't imagine better customer service than I received from Truck System Technologies.
