Battery disconnect question

2016 Palomino TC battery disconnect question. When the disconnect is pulled out (turned off) what electrical equipment should work inside the camper, 12V, 120V, or NOTHING?

When my switch is pulled, everything works as normal. The wire leads are connected to both terminals of the switch. Maybe I have a bad switch?

Usually battery disconnect when pulled out is "on" and when pushed in is "off".....

And to add to it if you are plugged in everything will work no matter if the switch is on or off.

Thanks Toddupton. I will disconnect from shore power and check if the battery disconnect shuts down all battery power to T/C when in the disconnected position.

OPer update

Had a chance to go dry camping near beautiful Baxter State park this weekend. Got a chance to test battery disconnect.

Disconnect pulled out allows 12V side to work and when pushed in shuts down power to 12V systems providing you are NOT hooked to shore power.
If hooked to shore power everything in camper works.

Thanks all for your assistance.
