Door won’t open with top down ?

Hello I just bought a 2012 palomino bronco model 1225B. I have to raise the roof approximately 1 inch to get the back door to open. I’m not sure if that’s normal. curious, what kind of experience other people have? Seems like you should just be able to open the door and not unhook all the latches raise the roof jump inside. Lower it down latch all the latches. Just curious if that’s the norm.

That is the norm from what I have gathered online. I am picking up my 2012 B1251 next week and plan to modify it to allow it to open as that is bad engineering to me.

I ended up cutting the top. I used a 1/16 grinder cutting wheel. A little wax make some work great also put a drip edge over the door opening.
